Planting the Woof'n Rose Vineyard

First vines were planted in 1995 when a small amount of Zinfandel and Petite Sirah were planted just to see if they would grow. The next year a few Caberent Sauvignon and about 300 Merlot vines were added.

Viticulture got serious in 2003 (pictures below) when 500 Cabernet Franc vines were planted and again in 2004 with the addition of 600 Grenache Noir vines. As of 2009 Petit Verdot (150 vines) and Alicante Bouschet (150 vines) were added; and Malbec and more Caberent Sauvignon will be added in 2010 to round out the Bordeaux and Grenache blending programs.
