The Kahle Family

The Woof'n Rose Winery and associated vineyards are family owned and operated by Stephen (Steve) and Marilyn Kahle and their extended family of three sons and spouses, grandkids, and other friends. Even the dogs help!

 

  

Steve and Marilyn

 

Steve and Marilyn Kahle have raised three sons during their 41 years of marriage. Marilyn, from St. Louis MO, is a retired school district secretary and database administrator who now handles the winery management and marketing. Steve is full time prinicpal viticulturist and winemaker; born and raised in Columbia MO, he is a retired Computer Engineer (BSEE University of Missouri at Columbia, MSCS Kansas State University).

Ehren and Stephanie

Parents of grandkids Tehren and Vailyn, Ehren is an engineer and paramedic with a San Diego area Fire Department. All are regular vineyard and winery helpers.

 

Travis and Susan

Eldest son, Travis and Susan are regulars helping with the winery, particularly with bottling operations and sales.

 

Zane and Shannon

After sevearl years in Pensacola Zane (former Marine) and Shannon (former Navy) have returned to California and along with new granddaughter Elizabeth Mae are regular winery and vineyard helpers.
